Labs Tower | Apartment type II, Nicosia, 2022.

Labs Tower Nicosia is a mixed-use 22 floor tall building. It accommodates several commercial floors consisting of offices, a canteen, a small gym, and two restaurants, alongside six floors of residential apartments.

The apartments in the tower vary in size and are divided into several types; The smallest is the studio apartment, while the largest is the penthouse. As the apartments are a part of Labs Stay, they are on the seam between a hotel and a home; Intended to create a flawless hospitality experience, while feeling at home. Therefore, all apartments are meticulously designed to the detail and are fully furnished, in correspondence with the broad visual language carefully articulated for the whole building. Aiming to create a timeless yet contemporary atmosphere, natural and classic materials were selected consistently, ranging on a warm and mellow spectrum. Achieving this notion, of designing the building’s interiors as a whole, while creating singular experiences for each type of space, was a multifaceted challenge. Clean lines and an almost monochromatic color palette, suggested defining each space by specific forms, scale, textures and details.

As well, natural daylight plays a huge role in defining the spaces; The verandas are an integral part of the apartments’ layout and are experienced as both an interior space as well as an exterior one.
